Thermal insulation

The development of a system with optimum thermal insulation properties is not a coincidence, but the result of targeted development work. Success has proved us right. Numerous calculations have resulted in excellent thermal insulation values.

Acoustic insulation

Very good thermal insulation and sound insulation thanks to the 6-chamber construction and the great construction depth of the frames and leaves.

Suitable for accommodating functional glazing

Suitable for accommodating triple functional glass panes up to 52 mm (STV® 54 mm) thick.

Statik

The STV® (static dry glazing) bonding technology developed by GEALAN consists of bonding the glass and the profile sheet with an adhesive tape specially designed for window construction while maintaining the usual glass fit.

GEALAN-FUTURA®

Passive-compatible windows also in colour

GEALAN-FUTURA® is the only individual profile combination of the S 9000 system. It offers the possibility to construct passive house-compatible window elements in colour according to ift directive WA-15/2 with standard profiles and standard 2 mm steel reinforcements. The proven U-value of 0.89 W/(m²K) confirms the excellent basic thermal insulation properties. With GEALAN-FUTURA® and STV® bonding technology, sash lengths of up to 2.40 m are possible.

S 9000 plus

System with stable central seal

S 9000 plus is the new fixed central seal system in the GEALAN window rebate. The central seal wall effectively protects the mechanical parts in the window from external influences. Central seal systems are convincing due to their excellent thermal insulation characteristics.

Excellent burglary protection

Even more security than already in the standard version is hardly possible in the S 9000 system. However, the new fixed central seal of the S 9000 plus system makes life much more difficult for burglars. Most burglaries are committed by forcing the windows, while the intruder inserts a screwdriver between the frame and the sash. At this point, however, there is an effective barrier: the new fixed central seal.

Perfect for large coloured elements

Due to its excellent static properties, the S 9000 plus system is ideal for the construction of large elements with GEALAN-acrylcolor® coloured surfaces. With GEALAN’s STV® bonding technology, windows in S 9000 plus can again have an increase in stability and operational safety.

GEALAN-LUMAXX®

Optimised geometries

During the development of GEALAN-LUMAXX, the frame geometry has been fully optimised, while the profile heights have been compressed to a minimum. The designers have paid great attention to a balanced ratio of thermal and static insulation characteristics as well as to the perfect interaction with the fittings.

Visibly less part of frame

The direct comparison proves it: The new GEALAN-LUMAXX is significantly narrower than previous frame and leaf combinations. In the past, central nodes or posts occupied a width of 150 mm or more. Unsightly large beams destroyed the silhouette of the window and let much less light into the room. With the new system, minimalist designs can finally be realised without having to do without security and easy handling.

No compromise

Although the priority is “minimalist design”, the new door leaf/window profile does not allow any compromises in terms of statics. In both cases, a reinforcement is used which, due to its static characteristics, allows elements up to 2.30 in white as well as 2.20 in colour.

Colouring in the S 9000 system

GEALAN offers a multitude of possibilities for creating coloured PVC windows. One of them is the proven GEALAN-acrylcolor® surface technology. The coloured acrylic coating is scratch-resistant, easy to clean and weather-resistant. Windows with GEALAN-acrylcolor® technology thus meet the highest technical and functional requirements for innovative and colourful surfaces.

GEALAN’s extensive range of decorative films also offers numerous design options for coloured window and door profiles. The standard delivery programme already offers a wide range of colour variants. Other shades and textures are available on request depending on the product.
